Distant Calls, 2021

Distant Calls created in collaboration with a sea shanty choir, was performed on Saturday 10 July to a small socially distanced audience at Gods House Tower, Southampton, and live-streamed across social media channels. A performance of sea shanties echoing within the city walls beside the sea exploring the ritualistic social form of song and its transmutative and sculptural qualities. The recording from the live stream was installed as part of Addendum.
