Stat, after a percentage, after a drawing, 2013

A series of works-on-paper that start with an abstract image made with oil-stick. The image is analysed to calculate the percentage of the paper covered in art materials, matching this data with existing geopolitical statistics garnered from the internet. The stat is drawn up and combined with the source drawing in a photocopy.
